Biography

Dr. Patton’s experience is in the collection and analysis of trace contaminants (chemical and radionuclides) in the environment, with special interests in the development of ambient air monitoring networks, long range transport and fate of persistent pollutants, and environmental monitoring in freshwater ecosystems.

Research Interests

  • Environmental Chemistry Development of sampling networks for water and air surveillance. Development of high volume air sampling methods.
  • Long range transport of persistent organic pollutants.
